Ione Sol Chamorro is a 25 year old painter born in Philadelphia, but mostly raised in the woods of the Poconos. She attended Massachusetts College of Art and Design and graduated with bachelor’s in painting in 2019.
Ione is inspired by family history, mythology, superstition, and pretty dead things she sees on the ground. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, her body of work serves as a personal folklore.
